Five stars / all thumbs-up for the whole team for HIMPFF a champion of independent film and women in the film industry. We were honored and overjoyed when “Exploring Hope for Better Times” won Best Woman Filmmaker and Best Documentary Feature in May of 2018. The red-carpet interview with Dani Jae (January 2019) was outstanding; she really took the time to understand the essence of our film and to get to know the director personally. That’s a treasured memory forever, captured by their outstanding and very professional crew. Later in the evening, we noticed 23 countries represented, and getting to know some of the filmmakers—watching their dreams come true alongside us—made the evening’s festivities even more delightful. Here’s a shout-out to the other winners. Congrats, everyone. And to all the judges and the whole team at HIMPFF, thank you so very much – we will never forget the red-carpet event. You made us feel so welcomed, so loved and honored… and yes, you filled us with HOPE!
