Horror Ciclos Shorts Fest is an international film festival that encompasses horror, fantasy, suspense, and mystery, dedicated to all the people who love this genre. Its country of origin is Colombia, but it is created for the whole world. Horror Ciclos Shorts Fest aims to discover national and international audiovisual talent and awaken the imagination of horror short and feature film creators. The submission period for productions will end on february 25, 2025. Collectives, students, filmmakers, producers, enthusiasts, and the general public from all countries can participate in the competition.

Horror Ciclos Shorts Fest es un festival internacional de cine que abarca terror, suspenso, fantasía y misterio, dedicado a todas las personas amantes de este género. Su país de origen es Colombia, pero se crea para todo el mundo. Horror Ciclos Shorts Fest tiene como objetivo descubrir el talento audiovisual nacional e internacional, y despertar la imaginación de creadores de cortometrajes y largometrajes de horror. El período para enviar las producciones finalizará el día 25 de febrero de 2025. En el concurso podrán participar colectivos, estudiantes, realizadores, productores, aficionados y público en general de todos los países.

Rules & Terms


-The theme is open, although all productions must fall within the genre of terror or horror.
-The duration of short films must not exceed 30 minutes.
-Participants must submit their short films until 23:59 on february 25, 2025, through our FilmFreeway site.
-Productions can be recorded with any device, whether it's a camera or a cellphone. However, it is recommended that the productions have high-resolution quality, regardless of the recording medium used.

-El tema es libre si bien todas las producciones deberán enmarcarse en el género del terror o el horror.
-La duración de los cortometrajes no podrá exceder los 30 minutos.
-Los participantes deberán enviar sus cortometrajes hasta las 23.59 h del 25 de febrero de 2025 a través de nuestro sitio en FilmFreeway.
-Las producciones puede ser grabadas con cualquier dispositivo, ya sea cámara o celular. De cualquier forma, es recomendable que las producciones tengan calidad en alta resolución, independientemente del soporte utilizado para su realización.

    Como participante de la tercera versión, en la categoría "Cortometraje nacional", me parece que el festival es un espacio increíble para socializar obras de terror. A parte de eso, todo el equipo es bastante humano y tiene una atención increíble. Recomendado para todos los amantes del cine de terror.
