THE BUDDHA International Film Festival's main objective is to provide the opportunity for filmmakers from all over the world (INTERNATIONAL / NATIONAL) to excel by accepting all genres, and to have the best work selected and showcased in a celebration of cinema, as well as to give filmmakers a platform to network amongst fellow professionals and cinematic artists. TBIFF is looking forward to fostering these relationships and to helping extraordinary filmmakers get their projects seen by global audiences. TBIFF unites cinematic, cultural, educational more over Inspirational objectives by presenting its film discoveries.
The TBIFF is dedicated to showcasing new and innovative films while fostering the next generation of filmmakers. It is a strong advocate for social change, and encourages cultural diversity and understanding between nations. It strives to foster the movie art of all continents by stimulating the development of quality cinema and promoting meetings between cinema professionals from around the world.
The BUDDHA International Film Festival is dedicated to showcasing the spirit, passion, and skill of the best new filmmakers from around the world for audiences around the world.
We are also including and actively supporting not only the finest examples of classic moviemaking, but works that are experimental, breaking ground in new non-narrative forms and crossing over into the video arts. All films will be reviewed as they are submitted, and the best in each category will be chosen to screen at the festival. A jury of industry professionals will then view the finalists and choose the winning selections.
Filmmakers planning on attending should notify the film festival as soon as possible, so their names may be listed in the scheduled program at the venue where their film will be shown.

Rules & Terms

RULES & REGULATIONS
TBIFF - The Buddha International Film Festival

To participate:

The Festival is open to filmmakers from all over the world (INTERNATIONAL / NATIONAL) & We are accepting all genres.

The Film submitter should be an authorized person or an organization ; Film Director or Film Producer or Production Organization.

You can submit as many films as you wish. Once submission is done then there is no fees refund.

The short films must have been made from the 1st January 2010 till the deadline for registration, and it is not a problem if they have been previously screened, shown on the Internet or in other festivals.
Our Jury's Decision about your film's selection is the final.

The films may be in English, Marathi, Hindi, Spanish, European Languages or in any other language with English subtitles. For the selection process are not necessary English subtitles but if your film is selected we will ask you English subtitles for the public screening.

The organization can use pieces from the selected films (10% maximum) to promote them and the festival.

Selected short films of TBIFF will or may become part of "other film festivals organized by us". this decision is totally taken by TBIFF.

Categories mentioned on FilmFreeway website with 'Non-Screening but in Award Competition' will not going to screen, as they are kind of award ceremony competition. Only our judges watch it for judging purpose.

All content mentioned in categories' sub-section is the part of 'Rules and Terms' section.

Our jury's decision is the final decision about selection, there is zero scope of reconsideration or any argument. We share only digital laurels to official selections and certifications to winners through email. We are socially inclined festival so we always give support to many many filmmakers.

The short films upto 59 minutes,

The feature films or Documentaries should not be more than 4 hours

Format:

All of the submitted films can participate, no matter the format. The screening will be from a 1080p digital file (participants will be informed about the format needed for the screening with time enough).
