No studios. No formulas. Just pure cinema — created without safety nets, marketing departments, or test screenings. These are films born on passion, grit, and the belief that art doesn’t need approval to matter.

Whether it’s a DIY feature shot on weekends, a guerrilla doc from the edge of the world, or a boundary-breaking short that would never get greenlit — 100% Independent is where they belong.

Awards & Prizes

1. "GoldenEye for Best Film: This prestigious award is given to a film that stands out for its unique story, cinematic craftsmanship and impact on audiences.
2. "Silver Lens" for Best Director: An award that emphasizes outstanding directorial craftsmanship in the making of a film. Emphasizes visual decisions, artistic interpretation and overall production direction.
3. "Crystal Feather" for Best Screenplay: Awarded to an outstanding screenplay that is characterized by originality, depth of characters and a compelling storyline.
4. "Starring Role" for Best Acting: This award recognizes outstanding acting achievement in major and minor roles, highlighting individual excellence and contribution to the overall atmosphere of the film.

Rules & Terms

1. All films must be in English or with English subtitles.Non-English language films without subtitles will not be considered.
2. All submitted films and projects must be free of any legal disputes and the director must own all rights to music and exhibitions.
3. Applications must be submitted through FilmFreeway's online screening.
4. Entry fees are non-refundable.
5. We have no requirements for a movie premiere or completion date.
6. If you are not a winner, you may submit your movie again.
7. There are no restrictions on year of release.
8. The Film Festival reserves the right to change the program without prior notice.
