  • this is a charming boutique festival. it's not a big festival, but i made great connections with some superb filmmakers with unique visions—including one from japan! the atmosphere was friendly, intimate, and fun. there was a great variety in the screenings, and there were filmmakers there for Q&A in every session. the audience was very engaged, asking good questions and adding their own valuable insights.

I really appreciate the Woodstock Museum Film Festival's vision of sharing only films that have purpose for making the world a better place. They understand the power of art and use that power for good. I felt honored to be a part of their festival.

This turned out to be a charming festival, attended by a memorable group of savvy, on-the-level humanists. The rustic setting and very laid-back style added to the experience for me, and so did the resident contemplative, a sensitive soul named Paul. A very good venue for my movie with its hopeful sensibility. Thumbs up.
