The Seventh Annual VOB Film Festival is a one of a kind gathering of film makers, film lovers, great places to visit and creative ideas. The event takes place during Labor Day weekend from August 30th - September 2nd, 2018. The VOB screens films from around the US and around the World. We are looking for great stories, new ideas and always something different. Films are shown throughout scenic Putnam County, NY - a great place to visit and stay for the weekend. We also host film panels, special guests and informational sessions during the event. We may use your film at some of our independent film nights in our own theater.

  • Although we could not attend in person, the festival communication and screening information was top notch, and we very much appreciate our film screening to enthusiastic audience goers! We will definitely submit our next film again, thank you!

  • Had a wonderful afternoon at this festival in the lower Hudson Valley in New York, just an hour outside of Manhattan. The setting at Arts on the Lake was idyllic for a late summer festival. Festival Director, Bob Dumont is passionate about film and super encouraging to filmmakers. The quality of the films shown was really high. I was delighted to have my film screen there. Many filmmakers were in attendance. Wish I could have been at more of the events to meet more of them.
