ISCRIZIONI APERTE alla nuova edizione INCANTO FILM FESTIVAL 2026, organizzata con ANEMONE FILM

L'edizione 2025 ha visto la collaborazione e partecipazioni di artisti affermati e giovani autori tra cui:
- i componenti della giuria MAIN CATEGORY Valerio Mastandrea, regista, attore e sceneggiatore; Barbara Ronchi, attrice; Gianluca Arcopinto, produttore e distributore; Piero Messina, regista; Daria D’Antonio, direttrice della fotografia; e Giogiò Franchini, montatore;
- i registi e le registe under 35, in collaborazione con MIC-Siae e Anemone Film: Edgardo Pistone, Francesco Gheghi, Carolina Pavone, Andree Lucini, Maria Giménez Cavallo e Gianluca Santoni;
- Francesco Bianconi, cantautore, scrittore e compositore italiano, frontman dei Baustelle e l’attrice Tess Masazza
- importanti case di produzioni allo spazio pitch: Our films productions; Mompracem film; Indigo film; Haapar film; Alcor film; 10d film; Anemone film.

La sezione Bande à Part, spazio dedicato a opere low budget e a giovani autori, è stata caratterizzata da una giuria formata da: Valentina Bellè, attrice; Giovanni Dota, regista e sceneggiatore; Danilo Sarappa, casting director; Roberto Mario Danese, professore di Letteratura e Cinema e Filologia classica; e Giulia Magda Martinez, sceneggiatrice.

Il festival, già nelle precedenti edizioni, si è distinto per essere una piattaforma nuova, giovane e innovativa per la proiezione e la discussione di cortometraggi, in grado di diventare un punto di riferimento per il pubblico e per tutti gli appassionati di cinema. Uno degli obiettivi fondamentali del festival è quello di creare dei momenti di incontro con gli autori e i professionisti al fine di condividere idee, storie, riflessioni e scoprire i segreti che stanno dietro la creazione dei loro lavori. Tra gli altri, infatti, il dialogo con il pubblico sarà un'occasione per approfondire la conoscenza degli elementi tecnici del linguaggio del cortometraggio e del linguaggio cinematografico in generale.

Per gli autori e per i registi emergenti che parteciperanno, sarà un'occasione unica per poter parlare e raccontare la genesi delle proprie opere e la propria idea di cinema. C'è sempre più necessità di dare voce a giovani autori che con fatica e con sacrificio riescono a realizzare le proprie opere; si vuole offrir loro una piattaforma in cui potersi presentare e farsi conoscere e questo Festival nasce proprio per questo.

Incanto Film Festival sarà anche una preziosa opportunità per il pubblico per scoprire nuovi autori e l'interazione diretta tra autori e spettatori è l'occasione che permetterà al pubblico di comprendere meglio il processo creativo dietro i cortometraggi; verrà dedicato ampio spazio all’incontro del pubblico con gli autori al fine di scambiarsi opinioni e feedback.

Oltre le proiezioni, il festival prevede in particolare una fitta serie di incontri con gli autori, con i giurati e con altri ospiti dell’evento; una piattaforma di networking in grado di creare una rete di contatti e una rete di collaborazioni che sicuramente proseguiranno anche dopo il festival.

Si precisa che le date, una volta pubblicate, potranno essere soggette, in via del tutto eccezionale, a slittamento o anticipazione e verranno ufficializzate in tempo utile sul nostro sito e sulle nostre pagine ufficiali-social media. Al concorso di cortometraggi sono ammessi prodotti di ogni genere (esclusi videoclip e cortometraggi di animazione) dalla lunghezza massima di 15 o 20 minuti, in base alle categorie.

The festival has distinguished itself as a new, young and innovative platform for the screening and discussion of short films, capable of becoming a reference point for the public and all film enthusiasts in the area and beyond.

One of the fundamental goals of the festival is to create moments of meeting with authors and professionals in order to share ideas, stories, reflections and discover the secrets behind the creation of their works. It is intended to bring to our territory a moment of dialogue with the public that can also be an opportunity to deepen knowledge of the technical elements of the language of short film and film language in general, as well as encourage the production of new projects in our territory.

For the authors and emerging filmmakers who will participate, it will be an opportunity to be able to talk and tell about the genesis of their works and their idea of cinema. There is an increasing need to give voice to young authors who with hard work and sacrifice manage to realize their works; we want to offer them a platform where they can present themselves and make themselves known.

Incanto Film Festival is also a valuable opportunity for the audience to discover new authors, and the direct interaction between authors and viewers is an opportunity that will allow the audience to better understand the creative process behind the short films; ample space will be devoted to the audience meeting with the authors in order to exchange opinions and feedback. This connection enriches the filmmaking experience, stimulating discussion and participation.

In addition to the screenings, the festival will particularly include a busy series of meetings with the authors, jurors and other guests of the event; a networking platform that can create a network of contacts and a network of collaborations that will surely continue after the festival.

In addition, the festival wants to make the viewer's participation as active as possible and, precisely for this reason, an Audience Award will also be given, which the audience in the auditorium will have to decree.

Rules & Terms

1. Al concorso di cortometraggi sono ammessi cortometraggi di ogni genere (esclusi i videoclip musicali e i cortometraggi di animazione), prodotti dopo il 1° gennaio 2024 che rispettino i criteri riportati al punto 2.

2. Il concorso si articola nelle seguenti categorie:
MAIN CATEGORY: durata max 20 minuti, genere libero (esclusi documentari, videoclip musicali e cortometraggi di animazione).
BANDE À PART (UNDER 35): durata max 15 minuti, cortometraggi opere prime o seconde, a basso o zero budget, narrativi ma anche non narrativi, video poesie, documentari, generi e formati diversi, progetti che sappiano sfruttare a pieno con originalità tutte le forme del linguaggio cinematografico. Un contenitore per i progetti più particolari e innovativi per dare spazio e valorizzare i giovani autori.
REGIONE MARCHE: durata max 20 minuti, genere libero, opere di finzione e documentari, realizzate da registi MARCHIGIANI. Categoria per dare spazio e voce ai progetti dei giovani autori marchigiani.

3. I cortometraggi in lingua straniera sono ammessi solo se provvisti di sottotitoli IN ITALIANO. I cortometraggi in lingua straniera che verranno iscritti non provvisti di sottotitoli in inglese non verranno visionati; la quota d'iscrizione non sarà rimborsata. Sono ammessi anche cortometraggi già vincitori o partecipanti ad altri Festival. È possibile inviare più di un’opera per autore. Sarà apprezzato l’invio del file, se selezionato per la proiezione, provvisto - ove possibile - di sottotitoli IN INGLESE.

4. Tutte le opere iscritte al Festival secondo i termini legittimi sopra stabiliti saranno visionate dalla Direzione Artistica che curerà la preselezione per individuare i cortometraggi in concorso per l’attribuzione dei premi. Tali cortometraggi saranno proiettati nelle giornate che verrano indicata quanto prima tramite i nostri canali social e la nostra pagina web. I risultati della selezione saranno pubblicati nei profili social dell’Incanto SFF. Le opere in concorso verranno quindi sottoposte alla valutazione sia di una Giuria Artistica (i cui componenti verranno indicati dalla Direzione Artistica del Festival) e sia di una Giuria demoscopica formata da tutti gli spettatori. La scelta della selezione dei corti per il concorso da parte della Direzione Artistica è insindacabile.

5. La commissione selezionatrice – una volta che avrà visionato tutti i cortometraggi e avrà selezionato i cortometraggi da inserire nella programmazione del festival - si riserva la possibilità di spostare i cortometraggi in una categoria diversa rispetto quella di iscrizione, a seconda delle caratteristiche del cortometraggio e ad insindacabile giudizio della commissione.

6. Ai corti che verranno selezionati, sarà richiesto l’invio anche del DCP per la proiezione.

7. I vincitori si impegnano, qualora lo desiderassero, ad inserire nei titoli di testa delle opere premiate il nome ed il logo de “L’incanto Short Film Festival”, unitamente al premio conseguito. È gradita la partecipazione in presenza dei registi selezionati alla cerimonia di premiazione.

8. Promozione e diritti: L’iscrizione di un cortometraggio al Festival comporta la cessione gratuita (non esclusiva) all’Organizzazione del Festival dei diritti di utilizzazione dell’opera per gli usi connessi alla promozione dell’iniziativa, previa autorizzazione concessa contestualmente alla sottoscrizione di domanda di ammissione e liberatoria. Le opere inviate potranno essere utilizzate dall’Organizzazione anche in altri ambiti (biblioteche, centri culturali, ecc.), nell’alveo di attività culturali senza scopo di lucro, a fini divulgativi del Festival.

9. Diritto d’autore: l’Organizzazione del Festival declina ogni responsabilità per la riproduzione di audiovisivi contenenti materiale coperto da diritto d’autore per il quale non sia stata regolarizzata la posizione SIAE.

10. Privacy: I dati personali raccolti dalla Direzione Artistica del Festival saranno trattati nel rispetto del D.Lgs. 30 giugno 2003, n. 196 – Codice in materia di protezione dei dati personali GDPR ed. 2.2 consolidato Gennaio 2020.

11. La Direzione Artistica del Festival ha il diritto di decisione finale sui casi controversi e su quanto non espressamente previsto dal presente regolamento.
La Direzione Artistica del Festival si riserva il diritto di apportare modifiche al presente regolamento per esigenze tecnico-organizzative in casi di assoluta necessità o eccezionalità. La Direzione Artistica del Festival si riserva il diritto di apportare variazioni di programma qualora queste si rendessero necessarie per la buona riuscita della manifestazione.

La partecipazione al Festival implica integrale accettazione del presente regolamento.

1. Short films of all genres (excluding music video clips and animation shorts), produced after January 1, 2023 that meet the criteria in 2 are eligible for the competition.

2. The competition is divided into the following categories:
MAIN CATEGORY: max. length 20 minutes, free genre (excluding documentaries, music video clips and animation shorts).
BANDE À PART (UNDER 35): duration max 15 minutes, anomalous visions, video poems, documentaries, different genres and formats, narrative and non-narrative, out of the box, projects that know how to fully exploit all forms of film language. A container for the most unique, innovative and experimental projects, including low or zero-budget projects.
MARCHE: max length 20 minutes, free genre, fiction and documentary works, made by directors under 35. A category to give space and voice to the projects of young authors from the Marche region.

3. Foreign-language short films are admitted only if provided with ITALIAN subtitles. Foreign language short films that are entered without English subtitles will not be viewed; in this case the entry fee will not be refunded. Short films that have already won or participated in other festivals are also eligible. It is possible to submit more than one work per author. Submission of the file, if selected for screening, provided - where possible - with subtitles IN ENGLISH will be appreciated.

4. All works entered in the Festival according to the legitimate terms established above will be viewed by the Artistic Direction, which will take care of the pre-selection to identify the short films in competition for the awarding of prizes. These short films will be screened during the awards night, on the day that will be indicated as soon as possible through our social channels and web page. The results of the selection will be published in the social profiles of Incanto SFF after the date of August 12, 2024. The competing works will then be submitted for evaluation by both an Artistic Jury (whose members will be indicated by the Artistic Direction of the Festival) and a Demoscopic Jury formed by all viewers. The selection of the shorts for the competition by the Artistic Direction is unquestionable.

5. The Jury - depending on the type of short films received - reserves the right to change the indicated categories or to create new special categories, once the Artistic Direction has viewed all the short films and has selected the short films to be included in the festival program.

6. Short films that are selected will be required to submit the DCP too for screening.

7. The winners undertake, should they so desire, to include the name and logo of "L'incanto Short Film Festival" in the opening credits of the awarded works, together with the prize achieved. Attendance in the presence of the selected filmmakers at the award ceremony is appreciated.

8. Promotion and Rights: The entry of a short film in the Festival entails the free (non-exclusive) assignment to the Festival Organization of the rights to use the work for uses related to the promotion of the initiative, subject to authorization granted at the same time as the signing of the application and release form. The submitted works may also be used by the Organization in other areas (libraries, cultural centers, etc.), within the scope of non-profit cultural activities, for the dissemination of the Festival.

9. Copyright: the Festival Organization declines any responsibility for the reproduction of audiovisuals containing copyrighted material for which the SIAE position has not been regularized.

10. Privacy: personal data collected by the Artistic Direction of the Festival will be treated in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003 - Personal Data Protection Code GDPR ed. 2.2 consolidated January 2020.

11. The Artistic Direction of the Festival shall have the right of final decision on disputed cases and anything not expressly provided for in these regulations.

The Artistic Direction of the Festival reserves the right to make changes to these regulations for technical-organizational needs in cases of absolute necessity or exceptionality.

The Artistic Direction of the Festival reserves the right to make changes in the program should these be necessary for the success of the event.

Participation in the Festival implies full acceptance of these regulations.

    Vedere per la prima volta un mio lavoro sul grande schermo è stato stranissimo (in senso buono) e potermi confrontare con registi contemporanei è stato super interessante.

    L’esperienza all’IncantoLab, dedicato alla sceneggiatura, con il tutor Claudio Balboni è stata intensa e densa di significato, nonostante i soli due giorni a disposizione. Più che formativa, la definirei strutturante: un’opportunità che va oltre l’analisi tecnica, lasciandoti qualcosa di profondo e duraturo. È stato uno spazio prezioso in cui rielaborare e ridefinire il senso della scrittura, aprendo le porte a una nuova fase di ricerca. Fondamentale è stato anche il contributo degli altri partecipanti: il confronto con loro si è rivelato stimolante, arricchendo ulteriormente il mio percorso.
