The filmmaker gives us the right to use the name of the film, the images submitted for the uses listed. • After screening here twice, I've realized that what makes this film festival work is it's warm and welcoming hospitality. This is a home-grown festival that really seeks to satisfy the filmmakers as well as audiences who crave genre films such as sci-fi, horror and fantasy. An eclectic and exhilarating selection curated by the wonderful programmers makes for a wonderful helping of screenings, both short and feature. This is a festival you can't miss!

I had an amazing time at MiSciFi! I was fortunate enough to have my film "Kessler Syndrome" win the award for Best VFX in a short film. The organizers are very passionate about putting on a great event and it shows. There were many networking opportunities and I made friends with several filmmakers from around the world. I'd also recommend attending the scientific expedition at the end of the festival if you're able to. I would definitely return!

I enjoyed being part of the screenplay competition. The feedback and script notes I received were objective and helpful. The coordinators were engaging and timely in their correspondence. Though I was unable to attend, I've heard nothing but positive buzz about this event. I'll definitely be at the next one.

Great venues but lack of organization.
