Saugatuck Film Fest promises an exploration of the frontier of filmmaking with a backdrop of one of Michigan’s most beautiful art destinations. The SFF closes out the Art Coast’s year with an artistic flourish celebrating independent film, and offers patrons of the arts a sendoff to the year’s creativity.

Incredibly well run and professional. Thanks to Logan, Devin, Nick and the rest of crew for putting together such a great experience. Having our short film Salamander screen in front of a packed house was amazing. It is very clear this is a group of people who are passionate about film.

With their excellent branding, selection of films, the post-screening Q and A, and the opportunity for networking with other filmmakers in attendance, the SFF has set itself apart as one of the premier Michigan film festivals. We look forward to coming back next year!

I am so grateful to Saugatuck Film Fest for hosting our film "this is not the morning i thought i was going to have." Devin, Logan and Nick could not be kinder, their passion for film is apparent.

I was very impressed by the level of production, communication and quality of films presented. The event was well curated, and thoroughly impressive. I also loved meeting the fellow filmmakers attending the event.

Can't wait to submit again, and thank you for having us!

  • An amazing festival! These guys really take care of their filmmakers. From the consistent and friendly communication prior to the event, to the fantastic picture and sound quality at the venue, to the fun perks like gourmet drinks and snacks being made right in front of you, my team and I had a great time from start to finish. Located right in the heart of downtown Saugatuck and steps away from fun bars, restaurants, shops, and the harbor, the location couldn't be better for a fun, small, intimate film festival with great selections and awesome people behind it. I'll be returning as long as they keep doing it. Can't recommend this one enough. Thanks, guys!
