The awards received for our short documentary were widely celebrated. The festival clearly assesses the work with care, attention and impartiality. When I saw that we received the Grand Jury Award for Best Director Short I felt so grateful for knowing that our work and ideals can turn into recognition from a specialized jury. We are also extremely grateful for the award of Best Social Justice Film. I certainly recommend the New York International Film Awards as an opportunity not only to receive an analysis of the film but also to establish contact with the industry in the US.
