Now, more than ever before, the world needs to hear from diverse writers who have important personal perspectives and stories to share with us.

We take great pride in and strive to celebrate writers with diverse and under-represented minority perspectives, including those who may be disadvantaged as members of ethnic, religious, racial, LGBTQIA+, disability, or 50+ age groups.

Subject and theme "agnostic," we are focused on the diversity of writers and the personal generational, racial, ethnic, and sexual orientations they bring to the art and craft of screenwriting

Our Senior Judging Panel is dedicated to finding the best diverse writing talent and to light the path forward to lasting industry success.

Live Story Conference
You'll be personally invited to a Live Story Conference with a award-winning WGA writer-producer Robert L. McCullough and with WGA writer and SAG actor Suzanne Herrera-McCullough.

This is a private meeting where these seasoned pros (more than 300 produced credits) give you tips, professional insights, and personal guidance for taking your material to the professional (and marketable) level.
You'll receive an in-depth written analysis of your script and a video recording of your meeting.

  • This is the most satisfying, professionally run screenplay contest that I’ve come across. The judges very quickly returned feedback on my submission, even before their official notification date. Communication from the organizers is top-notch and very timely. The satisfaction and surprise of my winning is an added bonus. I just wanted to thank them again for the wonderful reception that I had at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Diversity Screenplay Contest. I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the consultation that I had with Robert L. McCullough.
