An International Film Festival navigating through our global climate of COVID-19. The safety of all attendees, participants, sponsors is very important, therefore this year's festival will be hosted virtually, with the intention to meet live in Fall 2021.

Real Reel International Film Festival powered by Kingdom View Inc. presents iGotta Story Contest & Film Festival November 19-22, 2020. This Online Festival invites International Best Selling Authors, Speakers, and Film Producers to judge the work of creative geniuses around the world.

Everyone has a story to tell, how you decide to tell that story is totally up to you - it's part of your legacy, memoir, historical account, or biography depicting from personal knowledge or special sources. “When You Write the Story of Your Life, Don’t Let Anyone Else Hold the Pen” (unknown).

Real Reel International Film Festival invites creative content developers to showcase your story. We are looking for compelling stories that move an audience through laughter, tears, seeing the story through a different lens of inspiration and compassion.

Panel Discussions, learning from the industries best leaders in filmmaking and content creators. All seven (7) will be guided by questions you want to know, where is the film industry pre-post COVID 19 - How do we navigate our creativity?

Keynote Speakers, that are internationally recognized and best-selling authors, actors, and speakers with grace the film festival and share strategies to take your story to the world.

PRIZES: Prizes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash or subject to substitution. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries and the quality of each specific Entry.

Film Registrants have an opportunity to have their film aired on sponsors network for:
1. One year exposure
2. To be considered for the "People's Choice Awards"*
3. Platforms include sponsor's network access on SmartTV, Roku, Website, IOS & Android Apps.

*People's Choice Award
The film that receives the most views on the sponsor's network will receive the People's Choice Award. The registrants will promote their film along with the festival to their warm, cold market. Note: no promises made to viewers will be honored on registrants' behalf by any sponsor, agent, staff member, Kingdom View, Real Reel Film Festival, or any part of the event. (Cash & Prizes)

Content Guidelines:

Real Reel Film Festival powered by Kingdom View Inc. will select films to screen during the film festival and an additional 30 days. The film will be able to be view on worldwide platforms for registrants to promote to subscribers. If registrants would like to continue their film promotion on the network, a filmmaker fee will be offered.

All music, images, titles, footage, and other copyrighted material used in your submission MUST be properly licensed. You must have permission and/or the proper rights to all content submitted.

There are various resources that offer royalty-free music and images. We strongly encourage you to use original music or music from our library.
The Real Reel Film Festival team reserves the right to switch your submission to a different category as they see fit.

Eligibility Guidelines and Film Contest Rules & Terms:

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: Entries for Real Reel Film Festival Contest (the “Contest”) can be submitted between August 19, 2020, at 12:00:01 a.m. Central Time and November 7, 2020, 11:59 p.m. Central Time.

ELIGIBILITY: Entrants must submit entries as required on the entry form to be eligible. Entries received after the deadline set forth in these terms are ineligible, null, and void.

HOW TO ENTER: Create a film of twenty (20) minutes or less in length (unless another length limit is specified for the category above.) (a “Film”). Visit www.realreelfilmfestival.com and follow the instructions to complete the entry form to submit your Film.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: To submit your Film you will be required to provide your first and last name/company/organization name; email address; and Film URL. The information you provide will be used only for contest administration and to contact contest winners. Your information will not be used for any other purpose or shared with any party not affiliated with the Festival and the Contest except to the extent permitted by law.

Technical Guidelines:

Your submission’s total runtime (TRT) must NOT exceed the specified time limit for the category you are submitting (See categories and time limits below). Credits are included in your TRT and credit runtime must NOT exceed 30 seconds.

We strongly recommend that you triple check your audio levels and that your audio is NOT limited to one channel (ie: right or left).

Any film that includes the main dialogue that is not English must be submitted with English subtitles.

When uploading your submission, you must use the following file naming conventions:
FirstNameLastName_FilmTitle.mov

Examples:
JaneDoe_MyFilm.mov

JohnDoe_MyMovie.mp4

We will only accept the file formats listed below:
.MP4
.MOV
Do not submit films in 4K. Please submit your film in 1080 HD resolution. Any film files that are larger than 2GBs will not be accepted.

If submitting using a Vimeo link, please include the filmmaker's name and name of the film in the title. All Vimeo links must be downloadable or they will not be considered for selection and screening.

Do not submit using a YouTube link as they cannot be downloaded at full quality.
Films that are accepted into the festival will be screened in a 16:9 aspect ratio. If your film is submitted in a different ratio, your film will be letterboxed to display on the 16:9
