We are back with a new season of WinterSun International Film Festival, and this time with a live event, to recognize and honour the amazing films and the creative minds behind them.

- Physical certificate and trophy (for those attending the event only)

NOTE: Official selections, Finalists and Winner are only applicable for the "Best Short Film" category. For all other categories, only the Winners will be announced.

Rules & Terms

- All films submitted are under 45 minutes.

- All scripts submitted are under 30 pages.

- By submitting to this film festival, the submitters confirm that they own all the necessary rights on the film being submitted and there is no legal restriction which prohibits the film from being submitted to this festival. WinterSun Studios is not responsible for any such legal violations.

- In the event of any such legal violations, WinterSun Studios reserves the right to disqualify the film from the festival.

- Films containing the following are not accepted:
1. Pornographic content
2. Any content which spreads hatred or hurts others' sentiments based on gender, country, religion, ethnicity, language, color etc.

- Films which were submitted to the previous seasons are not eligible for submitting to the current season.

- By submitting, you also agree that your film (including poster etc) will be used for promotional purposes.

- Any technical issues with the submitted films are the responsibility of the filmmakers. If, at the time of judging, your video file doesn’t work or doesn’t have English subtitles (if in a language other than English), it will automatically be rejected without a refund. Please contact the festival team ASAP if there are any issues with the submission process and a solution will be found.

- By submitting to us you agree to our terms and conditions and to receiving marketing newsletters and discounts about film festivals in the form of emails. We will never sell your information to third parties.

- We reserve the right to update our terms and conditions without prior notice.
