The New Generation Film Festival is organised by Eupolis Art, a cultural non-profit organisation in Athens, Greece. The festival is relatively new and runs successfully for three consecutive years welcoming short films by young filmmakers between 14 to 30 years old. Our vision is to actively support young and underrepresented creators by providing training, promotional and professional opportunities. We aim towards excellence and for this reason we are applying a new strategic plan that implements the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI). The festival opens in early September with parties, fundraising events, outdoor activities, masterclasses among others and closes with a showcase between 25-27 September that celebrates creativity. Roundtables, interviews and other exclusive events are planned to run throughout the year. Join our community and celebrate your brilliance with us! Submit your film now!

  • A great festival that gives young creators the opportunity to share their work with the world and participate in a programme full of young artistic minds from different countries. The people who make up the festival are very welcoming and genuinely care about the artists' work. Thanks to this festival you can expand your knowledge by participating in the seminars (provided to young creators) and also meet remarkable friends and collaborators!

Its a festival that has a 10€ fee and its for young creators but they don't provide the DCP-24fps that is needed. How can greek young creators (even 12-18 years old) pay for a DCP that is not even needed in most other festivals in Greece. They could at least make a deal with a post production company. And even if that was okay, the notification that you got selected was 15 days before the screening, not answering on their e-mails and leaving almost no time to get the dcp done.
