The Expresso 90 Second Film Festival, now in its second year, is a film event for Birmingham that calls upon young and student film-makers to create compelling and engaging super short films. The panel will be looking for films that arrest, entertain, provoke thought and showcase the sophisticated abilities needed to produce fully rounded productions in such a limited time frame.
10 external finalists will be entered into the festival alongside 10 student entries from Solihull College and Northampton University. Out of this nominated pool, one winner will be selected by the festival's panel. The winning film will run at The Mockingbird before features for the duration of May. The winner will also receive the coveted Expresso 90 trophy and prize.
We want to see imaginative and engaging films created by students and young people.
