Four distinct strands over four incredible days.

Step into the world of cinematic brilliance at the Cine‑Wyre Film Festival, where your unique storytelling takes centre stage at the iconic Marine Hall Theatre in historic Fleetwood.

Over four packed days of screenings, this premier event celebrates the art of film across four distinct strands—Family Friendly, Documentary, Sci-Fi and Horror/Thriller - inviting both emerging and established filmmakers to showcase their work before an enthusiastic audience.

Alongside immersive screenings that light up the silver screen, experience live Q&A sessions with industry leaders, hands-on workshops, dynamic networking events, and insightful industry talks.

Whether you’re aiming to capture the hearts of families, provoke thoughtful dialogues, explore strange new worlds, or send shivers down spines, Cine‑Wyre is your stage to make a lasting impression

Within each of the four strands we accept all associated genres and sub genres, styles and countries of origin.

Plus, all submissions can receive an optional, complimentary social media shoutout and quote to help promote your work!

  • This is a great film festival run by real enthusiasts that want the best for the filmakers and their audience. They put together a high quality and very varied programme of events and screenings, something for everyone but you could watch them all. Great communication and socials promoting the events and the film makers.

Thanks you for awarding The Mood Swings, Best Documentary Film. It was very special to be given the opportunity in the Q&A to speak about the stigma that people with severe mental illness have to live with. The warmth and kindness you all showed myself and contributor Richard was very validating.

I'd advise everyone to submit to this intimate feastival with a big heart.

A Faultless film festival with a first class venue by the sea that incorporated slick programming and dynamic workshops. Excellent Q&A sessions with filmmakers in front of well attended audiences. The finale of a full house Networking and Awards Gala brought innovative ways to make new collaborations. All amongst a warm, friendly atmosphere that evolved from the most welcoming of festival organisers that genuinely love films and filmmakers. These people want to help filmmakers. This is a must film festival to submit to and attend.
