Dance Film artistic and technical realization involves the use of film-making crucial resources as fragmentation in multi-perspective filming (camera angles) and precise continuity in edition.
The festival will not consider works that are just a live dance performance filming.

RIURAU DANSA FILM FESTIVAL · 2ª Edition 2026 (RRDFF) in Marina Alta, Alicante (España). Screenings will take place in Xàbia/Jávea on the 20th November and at El Ràfol d'Almúnia on the 21st November (Alicante, Spain).
Oher activities as workshops, lectures and the 5th Dance Film Seminar will take place in Xàbia and Dénia during that same week in November.

Since the beginning of the RIURAU FILM FESTIVAL in 2012 until 2024, and the preliminary edition in 2011, the Dance Film Section becomes the only section and theme of the festival, changing its name in 2025.

La realización artística y técnica del CineDanza implica el uso de recursos cinematográficos específicos. Se requiere fragmentación en la filmación multiperspectiva (ángulos de cámara), y una continuidad de refinada precisión en la edición.
El festival no contempla obras de filmación directa de espectáculos de danza.

RIURAU DANSA FILM FESTIVAL · 2ª Edición 2026 (RRDFF) se celebra en la Marina Alta, Alicante (España). Las proyecciones se distribuirán entre las localidades de Xàbia/Jávea el 20 de noviembre y El Ràfol d'Almúnia el 21 de noviembre (Alicante, (E).
Las actividades paralelas del festival, los talleres, las conferencias y el V Seminario de CineDanza, tendrán lugar en Xàbia y en Dénia durante esa misma semana de noviembre.

Tras la andadura del RIURAU FILM FESTIVAL entre 2012 y 2024, y la edición preámbulo en 2011, el CineDanza pasa a ser la única sección y temática del festival, transformando su nombre en 2025.

Baleària Foundation Best Spanish Dance Film Audience Award: Diploma and two return tickets for any of the Bàleària ferry lines.

· Achieving an award is compelled to the publication of the RRDFF laurel on the film.
· The awards ceremony will take place in El Ràfol d'Almúnia on November 21st, after the final screenings.
· Filmmakers traveling to the festival to present their film or collect an award may request financial assistance up to €200.

IMPORTANT:
· No statuette will be sent. "Bancalets" will only be delivered by hand to the winners or their accredited representative during the awards ceremony.
· Competition prizes are not subject to Value Added Tax (VAT).
· In case cash prize winners are individuals, they will be subject to the personal income tax (PIT) established by law. Conversely, prize payments to production/distribution companies are not subject to VAT or PIT withholding. The association will provide winners with a certificate of the award payment and, where applicable, showing the withholding tax applied. (Individuals residing in the European Union, Norway and Iceland are subject to a 19% on personal income tax. Non-residents are subject to a 24% tax withhold).

· La obtención de un premio implica la publicación del laurel del RRDFF en el cortometraje.
· La entrega de premios se realizará en El Ràfol d'Almúnia el día 21 de noviembre después de las últimas proyecciones.
· Los cineastas que viajen al festival para presentar su película o recoger un premio podrán solicitar una ayuda económica hasta 200 €.

IMPORTANTE:
· Los "Bancalets" solo se entregarán en mano a los ganadores o a su representante acreditado durante la entrega de premios. La estatuilla no se enviará.
· Los premios por concurso no están sujetos al Impuesto del Valor Añadido (IVA).
· Cuando los ganadores de premios en metálico sean Personas Físicas, estarán sujetos al impuesto de retenciones fiscales (IRPF) establecidas por la ley. Por el contrario, el pago de los premios a las productoras/distribuidoras no conlleva IVA ni retención IRPF. La asociación entregará a los ganadores un certificado del premio y en su caso, con la retención aplicada. (Las Personas Físicas Residentes en la Unión Europea, Noruega e Islandia están sujetos a una retención del 19% en el IRPF. Los No Residentes están sujetos a la retención del 24%).

SPECIFICATONS
- Participation in the RIURAU DANSA FILM FESTIVAL is free of charge, regardless of any fees charged by the platform to filmmakers.
- Maximum duration of films is 20 Minutes.
- Only short Dance Films produced after January 1st 2025 will enter in the competition.
- Spanish subtitles -or English, in case original version is in Spanish- are required only if necessary.
- Deadline Submission date: 26th July 2026.
- Selection announcement date: Short films selected for screening will be announced at the web on 30th July 2026.

SELECTED DANCE FILMS
- Selected participants will receive technical specifications about the screening copy to send. Full HD 1080p resolution, codec H264 and MP4 format is required.
- The selected short films will attach a promotional poster of the film, still photographs of at least 1600x900 pixels including the film director/editor portrait, with the photographer's credit embedded, a trailer or teaser of the film and all the information deemed appropriate.
- The festival requests the social media URL or profile link.
- Film Rights: The participant will be fully responsible for showing all rights related to the film submitted to the contest. The festival is not responsible for the lack of rights that can compete in the short films.
- Under no circumstances RRDFF will pay screening fees. The organization reserves the possibility of using a fragment of 10 to 15 seconds duration of the selected short films for the festival promotion and the award ceremony.
- RRDFF reserves the right to maintain a copy of the selected short films in the festival's archive for a didactic use and with non-profit purpose.
- In case of any change due to force majeure, RRDFF will screen the selected short films in the venues and times it considers appropriate.
-The registration implies the full acceptance of these terms and conditions, as well as the decisions of the organization, selection committee and juries. Any matter not foreseen in these bases will be resolved by the organization of the RIURAU DANSA FILM FESTIVAL and will be unappealable.
-The organization undertakes and obliges that the personal data belonging to the data file of the participants will be treated according to article 12 of the Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, of Protection of Personal Data (LOPD-Spain).

ESPECIFICACIONES
- La participación en el RIURAU DANSA FILM FESTIVAL es libre y gratuita, independientemente de la tarifa que pueda aplicar la plataforma a los cineastas.
- La duración máxima de las películas es de 20 minutos.
- Los cortometrajes presentados a concurso deben estar producidos a partir del 1 de enero de 2025.
- Se requieren subtítulos en español -o inglés si la versión original es en español- si fuera necesario.
- Fecha final de la inscripción: 26 de Julio de 2026.
- Fecha de anuncio de la selección: Los cortometrajes seleccionados para su proyección se anunciarán en la web el 30 de Julio de 2026.

CORTOMETRAJES DE CINEDANZA SELECCIONADOS
- Los participantes seleccionados recibirán las especificaciones técnicas de la copia de proyección que deberán enviar. Se requiere una resolución Full HD 1080p., códec H264 y formato MP4.
- El festival solicita el póster promocional del cortometraje, fotografías de al menos 1600x900 píxeles incluyendo la del director/editor, con el crédito del fotógrafo insertado, un tráiler o teaser de la película y toda la información que se considere pertinente.
- El festival también solicita la URL o el perfil de las redes sociales.
- Derechos de las películas: El participante será plenamente responsable de mostrar todos los derechos relacionados con la película presentada a concurso. El festival no se responsabiliza de la falta de derechos que puedan competer sobre los cortometrajes.
- RRDFF no abonará derechos de proyección en ningún caso. La organización se reserva la posibilidad de utilizar un fragmento de entre 10 y 15 segundos de duración de los cortometrajes seleccionados para la promoción del festival y la ceremonia de entrega de premios.
- RRDFF se reserva el derecho de conservar una copia de los cortometrajes seleccionados en el archivo del festival para uso didáctico, sin ánimo de lucro.
- En caso de cambio por fuerza mayor, RRDFF proyectará los cortometrajes seleccionados en las sedes y horarios que considere oportunos.
- La inscripción implica la plena aceptación de estas bases, así como de las decisiones de la organización, el comité de selección y los jurados. Cualquier asunto no previsto en estas bases será resuelto por la organización de RIURAU DANSA FILM FESTIVAL y será inapelable.

-La organización se compromete a que los datos personales del fichero de los participantes sean tratados de conformidad con el artículo 12 de la Ley Orgánica 15/1999, de 13 de diciembre, de Protección de Datos de Carácter Personal (LOPD).
