We really enjoyed having our film, MAD, screened at Horrorwood Film Festival in Columbus in May, and were thrilled to have been awarded best Ohio Horror Short. Everyone was so friendly and kind, and the quality of the screening was terrific. While the screening room was small, the screen and picture were very clear and the sound was impeccable. This made for really enjoyable viewing. Congratulations on a great first year in Columbus! We can't wait for next year!

  • Thanks again for the awesome weekend! Super honored to show Manifest to a new crowd, and pick up Best Director! The screenings were packed, and everyone was great. I love these film festival / horror convention hybrids, where we get to interact with people who are looking for new horror. We’re all fans, so it’s super cool to be in that mix. Also love running into and hanging out with the festival family. So many killer filmmakers out there right now, and I love seeing each other grow. Congrats everyone, and Columbus Horror Con thanks again for everything! See you at the next one.

Great festival and well-attended! I really enjoyed the selection of feature and short films that were shown. The festival was very well-organized and it was great that they had a screenplay competition component as well.

The Picture Taker crew was over the moon to see the film screened for a packed, reverent audience and flanked by other strong selections like Laundromat and Exposure! We loved everyone we had the pleasure to meet, and your partnership with the Horror Con seems like a match made in horror heaven! Many of us are eager to attend next year whether we have a festival entry or not! Thank you so much!
