The Clout Film Festival seeks to showcase the best independent films from around the world and power up filmmakers to take their film from festival to TV.

Clout is the festival for filmmakers to show their work and connect with audiences.
We have a team of curators who will carefully select the films that will be featured on the ‘Fancy a Movie’ and ‘Scenes Plus Prime Time’ channels. Plus with live screenings throughout Northern California, you'll get a chance to experience immediate audience feedback.

With our partners Rhebus, Roku and Amazon Fire TV, selected winners will win an exclusive 2 year streaming contract, propelling their film straight to Roku and Amazon Fire TV.

Meet the CLOUT Festival team, organizers and select movie personalities for insight, laughs, autographs and networking. The audience will enjoy a two-hour ride of some of the best and brightest Directors, talent and films. A concession area to fill your snack attacks and sneak previews of upcoming films!

Filmmakers can look forward to a quality, well run venue to showcase their work, opportunities to speak with an audience and instant crowd reaction to your film.

Everyone can look forward to red carpet photo opportunities, meeting personalities, industry movers and prospective Directors. This is a place to be and be seen. A gathering spot not only for great films but an opportunity to pitch, meet and network.

Selected winners can look forward to the option of continuing their film's and actor's exposure by playing their movie in homes everywhere!

Awards & Prizes

An exclusive 2 year media distribution contract with Rhebus for Roku and Amazon Fire TV streaming on the Scenes Plus Prime Time and the Fancy A Movie channels.

Rules & Terms

Films must have been completed in the last five years.
Films must be between 5 minutes and 2 hours long.

A screener on a free service like YouTube should be available for review for each film.

CLOUT Film Festival SUBMISSION RULES

1. CLOUT competition is open to the United States and International entries.
2. All films must submit online preview screeners.
3. Foreign language entries must have English language subtitles.
4. Entries must have been completed in the past 5 years.
5. Applicants may submit as many entries as they wish, as long as each entry has a separate entry form and fee.
6. Any physical materials mailed in, must be labeled with submitter contact information. All emails must include the name of your film.
7. Any materials mailed in will not be returned to the submitters.
8. CLOUT has the right to screen any film or projects submitted to the CLOUT Film Festival. The CLOUT Film Festival does not pay screening fees.
9. In order to receive any award, the project's producer or director does not need to be present.
10. If [a film is] officially selected, it is the responsibility of the submitter to send the festival their film in digital format, as requested by festival.
11. All decisions made by the festival are final and at their discretion.
