Our Mission
We aim to celebrate independent films and showcase the artistry and creativity of independent filmmakers. Strengthening the bonds between Japanese and foreign filmmakers is our greatest aspiration. We also strive to prioritize filmmakers by promoting them, their artistic expression and creativity.

Our Festival
Inspired by the elegance, culture & refinement of bon dance and history, action & high energy of Ninjas, the essence of BonDance International Film Festival exemplifies the backbone of Japanese culture. Located at Hizen Yume Kaidou Ninja village, in Saga Japan, this festival is made possible by the community of Saga.

Our Programs
We showcase film categories such as Kids, Drama, Sci-fi, Comedy, Thriller, Documentary and many more. Our films and guests are from Japan and abroad. All films shown will be subtitled in Japanese and English.

Our Location
Hizen Yume Kaido Ninja Village located in Ureshino City, Saga Prefecture, is a theme park loved by the locals and is frequently used as a location for TV and movies. The adjacent Ureshino Onsen has been known as a famous hot spring since ancient times. This location near the center of Kyushu boasts great access to all other tourist destinations.

私たちの目的は、インディーズ映画を祝福し、インディーズ映画制作者の芸術性、創造性のショーケースとなることです。日本人フィルムメーカーと外国人フィルムメーカーとの絆を深めることは、私たちの最大の願いです。また、私たちはフィルムメーカーと、その芸術表現および創造性のプロモーションを最優先と考えております。

私たちの映画祭
盆踊りのエレガンス、文化、洗練性と忍者のアクションとエネルギーにインスパイアーされた ボンダンス国際映画祭 のエッセンスは、日本文化のバックボーンを象徴しています。佐賀県の元祖忍者村肥前夢街道にあり、この映画祭は佐賀のコミュニティによって支えられています。

私たちのプログラム
キッズ、ドラマ、S F、コメディ、スリラー、ドキュメンタリー、その他多くのカテゴリーをカバーしております。私たちの応募作品と観客は日本と海外の両方から参加いたします。全ての上映作品は日本語と英語の字幕付です。

私たちのロケーション
佐賀県嬉野市に位置する元祖忍者村肥前夢街道は、地元に愛されるテーマパークで、テレビや映画のロケ地として利用されております。また、隣接する嬉野温泉は、太古の昔から名湯として知られております。九州の中心に近いロケーションは、他の全ての観光地について絶好のアクセスを誇っております。

Rules & Terms

-We accept all genres.
-We accept multiple-category submissions.
-Feature films must be longer than 40 minutes. Short films must be 40 minutes or shorter.
-mp4 (H.264) is the preferred exhibition format for the festival.
-For programming consideration, the festival only accepts online screeners via FilmFreeway. WE DO NOT ACCEPT DVD OR BD SUBMISSIONS.
-After submitting, please check your FilmFreeway account to make sure that your submission meets our requirements and is 'In Consideration'. It is your responsibility to make sure all requirements are met, and necessary information is given.
-We do not accept works in progress.
-All the rights related to the submitted film must belong to the applicant.
-Those whom we deem overly violent, abusive, thoughtless or outrageous without the respect for human rights or animal rights will be disqualified.
-Films in non-English languages must have English subtitles.
-Submissions are deemed to be offers for screening. If we officially select one, that is the acceptance which forms a mutual agreement to screen unless it is withdrawn.
-Once officially selected, it cannot be withdrawn from the festival program during the event.
-All the paid fees are non-refundable for any reasons.
-Still photos, a brief synopsis, a poster and a trailer should be added to the project for the film’s promotional purpose.
-We will send your digital winner certificate free of charge.
-All the shipping costs regarding the award-winning film, if any, must be borne by the applicant.
-If you would like your printed winner certificate with its holder, we will send it to you for $20 and shipment.
-By submitting, you agree to allow us to use the materials such as trailers, posters, images etc. for the purpose of advertising your film and our events (web, printed media, and television etc.), and to share them with our partner festivals for promotional purposes.
-By submitting, you warrant that you have read, understood, and agreed to the regulations of the BonDance International Film Festival and that, to the best of your knowledge, the information that you have supplied is correct.
-We reserve the right to add, modify, or discard rules and terms, if needed, as needed, at any time, at its sole discretion, with or without notification.

-長編作品は40分超とします。短編作品は40分以下とします。
-望ましいファイルフォーマット：mp4（H.264)
-本映画祭はFilmFreeway経由のオンラインスクリーナーのみ受け付けます。DVDやブルーレイディスクは受け付けません。
-応募を送信した後、送信した応募が私たちの条件に合致していること、表示が「In Consideration」となっていることをFilmFreewayのアカウントで必ずご確認ください。全ての条件が合致していることと、全ての必要な情報が提出されていることを確認するのは、応募者の責任となります。
-制作途中の作品は受け付けません。
-応募者は、応募作品に関連する全ての権利を保有していなければなりません。
-過度に暴力的、虐待的、思慮を欠く、または、非人道的であって人権やアニマルライツを尊重しない作品は失格となります。
-英語以外の作品は英語字幕が必須となります。
-応募は上映の申込とみなされます。当映画祭のオフィシャルセレクションは承諾であり、辞退しない限り上映の合意を形成します。
-入選した作品は、イベント期間中にプログラムから辞退することはできません。
-全てのフィーはいかなる場合も返金不可です。
-プロジェクトには、作品のプロモーション用にスチル写真、簡単なシノプシス、ポスター、トレーラーを含めてください。
-デジタル受賞証明書は無料で交付いたします。
-受賞作品に関する送料が発生した場合、全て応募者負担となります。
-もし印刷された受賞証明書とホルダーが必要な場合、20ドルと送料で送付いたします。
-応募することにより、応募者は 本映画祭がトレーラー、ポスター、画像等の素材を応募者および映画祭イベントの宣伝に使用すること（ウェッブ、印刷媒体、テレビ等）、プロモーション目的で本映画祭のパートナー映画祭と共有することに同意するものとします。
-応募することにより、応募者は ボンダンス国際映画祭 のレギュレーションを読み、理解し、同意したことを保証し、応募者の知りうる限りにおいて、応募者が提出した情報が正しいことを保証することとします。
-本映画祭は、独自の判断により、通知の有無にかかわらず、いつでも、必要に応じて、規則および条件を追加、変更、または破棄する権利を留保します。
