Exceptional inaugural year for the Bonavista Film Festival, which draws people to one of the most stunning corners of Newfoundland and Labrador. The town is bursting with welcoming people, great local businesses, and fantastic screening venues. We were delighted to have our LGBTQ short film Waiting Outside... (www.waitingoutside.ca) screen at the historic Garrick Theatre on opening night - thanks for sharing our piece with your audiences!

  • I absolutely loved attending this festival and having my film screened as part of the program. It has a really nice personal touch and showcases a lot of talent from Newfoundland and abroad. The staff, films and locations for screenings/events were all great and you can tell a lot of thought and care has been put into this festival. Definitely going back next year!
