Selected writers will receive access to our online filmmakers, via our exclusive Festival Hub. This is the centre of communications and networking for the 11 festivals Lift-Off run, in 9 different countries aroundย theย world throughout the year.

Screenwriters selected from this showcase will be invited to network with these filmmakers virtually and physically gaining access to industry interviews and video workshops. You will also receive a free reviewers pass to any physical screenings at the festival.ย 

Here at Lift-Off we have seen a rise in fantastic, up and coming writing talent. Because of this, we want to give first-time screenwriters unprecedented access to the industry.

We accept all treatments, works in progress and scripts for all types of content (including web series, animation, short and feature length films). Single page treatments are free to submit and top 10% of these will be invited along with the other selections!

    Was not expecting to have a place within the Lift-Off Programme. Which is quite good as you get to converse & share your work with other Writers, Directors, Producers even those going down th acting path. Kind of a neat tool to have in your arsenal.

    I enjoyed every moment of this experience. It was wonderful to meet everyone at the showcase and it felt special to get to visit the Pinewood studios.

    I have been impressed with the access to workshops, festival screenings (although I'm hoping to make more of these) and communication with professionals.

    My experience so far with Lift-Off has been brilliant and I'm hoping to submit to London Lift-Off Festival soon and work further with the company in future.
