Our first event at Quentin Tarantino's NEW BEVERLY CINEMA in Los Angeles was a massive success. We showcased the previously unseen world of Japanese Pink movies and were the first festival to have VAMPYRES (1975) star ANULKA in attendance for a charity screening of her classic erotic Vampire movie. We were also featured on IFC, ROUE MORGUE, DREAD CENTRAL and LA WEEKLY. Our second event at LAEMMLE'S MONICA 4 was even bigger.
Past guests have included Fred Olen Ray, Mary Carey, Yutaka Ikejima, Bill Oberst Jr., Camden Toy, Christine Nguyen, Lynn Lowry, Reiko Yamaguchi, the Chiodo Bros., Anulka, Michelle Bauer, Barry Williams, the Suicide Girls, Yumi Yoshiyuki and Kevin Tenny. Past Award Winners include Roger Corman and Quentin Tarantino.
The festival features live burlesque entertainment before screenings and covers everything from British Horror to Japanese Pink movies.
We want to see all your amazing work - from traditional to experimental, from slow burn to high octane, from creepy ghost stories to bloody horror - just be creative.
The event will features classic B-Movie guests, and filmmakers will get to walk the red carpet and have their photos taken on the festival step and repeat.
Networking is also an essential part of this event, with ample time set aside for indie film networking.
We also hold raffles and raise money/awareness for our charity of choice - the breast cancer charity FEEL YOUR BOOBIES.
Awards given to all our winners - with the bonus that winning entries have the opportunity of being screened and distributed by one of AMAZON VIDEO's oldest independent distributor/aggregator as part of a new anthology series to be promoted under the BOOBS & BLOOD banner.
Plus winners will also be featured in the new BOOBS & BLOOD art magazine.
And all entrants and winners who attend in-person will receive prizes (incl. Blu-rays, buttons, signed photos...) donated by our many wonderful prize sponsors.
Our rules are very basic but necessary. Please take a look before you enter.
1. Entry Rules
We accept ANY films, produced ANY year, in ANY category you feel is grindhouse or exploitation-genre related (horror, action, sci-fi, martial arts, animation, film noir, teen comedy, erotic, blacksploitation etc).
Submit the film/screenplay digitally through FilmFreeway exclusively. You may have multiple entries. We do not offer a waiver fee. Entry fees are non-refundable. We do not return submission entries. All selections are final.
Any foreign language films must have english subtitles.
For the selection process a digital screener must be submitted via FilmFreeway. Screenplays must be submitted as a digital PDF via FilmFreeway.
We reserve the right to use extracts from submissions for festival publicity and marketing purposes.

6. Legal Terms & Conditions
The film contains no genuine acts of violence or animal cruelty.
Entrant warrants that they have the full & uncontested legal right (incl. full rights to the use of the film’s music) to enter their film/screenplay work to BOOBS & BLOOD and that the said work is not subject to nor threatened by any litigation.
Entrant holds BOOBS & BLOOD, its owners, management, juries, subsidiaries, agents, sponsors, affiliates, and etc. harmless from any and all claims of liability resulting from my entry. Entrants agree to defend and indemnify BOOBS & BLOOD, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, consultants, volunteers, judges and agents against any and all claims, demands, actions, or lawsuits arising out of or related to the screening of the submitted film, performance of the music, or displaying of the art.
BOOBS & BLOOD has the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to change the festival date or location, if deemed necessary or unavoidable, to ensure a successful festival. In such a case the festival would continue as normal, just at another venue/date TBD.
