Gardunha Fest.

The theme is 'The Paranormal' and it must be either implicit or explicit in the competing films.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Duration: Short films must be between 2 and 10 minutes long.
Production Date: Films must have been produced between 2020 and 2026.
Eligibility: Films accepted in previous editions are not eligible.
Content: Short films with commercial or purely political purposes will not be accepted.

COMPETITION CATEGORIES
The competition is divided into three sections:
National: For Portuguese authors aged 18 or older.
International: For international authors aged 18 or older.
Sub-18: For Portuguese authors under the age of 18 at the time of production.

The organization reserves the right to exclude films deemed inappropriate or that do not meet the criteria. A minimum of four films is required to hold a category competition.

SUBMISSION PROCESS
Deadline: Works must be sent by July 10, 2026.
Formats: Accepted digital formats include avi, mp4, or vob (uncompressed).
Language & Subtitles: Films not spoken in Portuguese should ideally have Portuguese subtitles. Portuguese-spoken films should include English subtitles whenever possible.
Documentation: All films must be accompanied by a completed and signed entry form.

GENERAL TERMS
Dates & Location: The festival will be held in Fundão (Portugal), on August 28, 29, and 30, 2026.
Fees: There are no entry fees or screening fees.
Archives: Submitted films will become part of the Gardunha Fest. archive and may be used for promotional purposes.
Acceptance: Participation in the festival implies full acceptance of these regulations.
