WE HOPE TO LEARN HOW YOU, THE FILMMAKER AND OUR TEMPORAL GUIDE, SCULPT YOUR THOUGHTS AND DISTILL YOUR EXPRESSION IN THE FORM OF THE CINEMATIC ART THAT YOU SHARE WITH US. IT WILL BE AN HONOUR TO WATCH YOUR FILM AND BE ALLOWED INTO THE WORLD THAT YOU HAVE CREATED.

WE DON'T CARE HOW EXPENSIVE YOUR EQUIPMENT IS, WE DON'T CARE IF ALL YOU HAVE IS A CELLPHONE, WE DON'T CARE IF YOU AREN'T FAMILIAR WITH FILM VERNACULAR, INDUSTRY JARGON OR FILM THEORY. WE JUST CARE ABOUT BEAUTIFUL WORKS OF ART, BE THEY ROUGH AND MESSY OR REFINED AND ELEGANT.

WE WILL GIVE OUT AWARDS THAT WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY SMALL TROPHIES, SELECTED BY OUR JURORS, ALONG WITH ONE AUDIENCE AWARD.

Films must be submitted online via private screeners. Films that are submitted must not be available online to the general public. Films submitted must have been made after Jan.1st, 2015.

Films in all languages are accepted, but films not in English must have English subtitles. Any film submitted gives consent to be screened at any Plebeian Film Festival event. All submission fees are nonrefundable. If your entry is selected as part of the Official Selection for the Plebeian Film Festival, you must provide us with a Digital Cinema Package (DCP) in order for it to be screened. It is the sole responsibility of the submitter to make sure the content of the film is free from any and all actual or potential legal claims and issues. It is the sole responsibility of the submitter to secure authorization and permission from the owner(s) of any and all trademarked content or materials included within the submitted film. It is the sole responsibility of the submitter to clear all content of the film from any and all actual or potential legal claims and issues, including, without limitation, claims based upon theories of libel, defamation, and invasion of privacy.
