The works selected will be included in an exhibition within the 2017 Festival and they will be judged by a panel of experts on contemporary artistic languages. The maximum duration of the short films has to be 15 minutes and they can be presented in any language, as long as they are subtitled in Italian or English.

— Special Section “Food and Water” (3rd edition)
The section is created in collaboration with the University of Siena and it is dedicated to all international short fiction or documentary films on the theme of “Food and Water and environmental sustainability". Works submitted in this section will be judged by a dedicated panel. The award ceremony will take place in Spring 2018.
Short films will be admitted in any language, as long as they are subtitled in Italian or English and have a maximum duration of 15 minutes.
