~BEVERLY HILLS FILM FESTIVAL MISSION~

Proudly celebrating its 24th festival year, the Beverly Hills Film Festival serves as a cinematic cultural template for emerging filmmakers and screenplay writers and supports their career goals, merging today’s filmmaking pioneers with the wealth of cinematic heritage by edifying and developing the filmic community through sponsoring community-based literacy needs. Also, the BHFF aims to involve and serve the next generation of entrepreneurs, investors, leaders, and advocates in its community to provide cause work opportunities.

~ABOUT THE FESTIVAL~

The International Beverly Hills Film Festival is proud of its outstanding ability to recognize some of the past and future most unique experiences by bringing them into the present. From the first film ever shot in Hollywood, “In Old California” by D.W. Griffith, to discovering Federico Fellini’s last film “La Voce Della Luna,” (Towards the Moon with Fellini) staring Federico Fellini and Roberto Benigni, The BHFF is honored to pay homage to past greats and rising stars.

Considered among the most exclusive and high caliber film festivals globally, in one of the most exclusive cities in the world, the Beverly Hills Film Festival is proud to play host over an intimate five (5) day event with over 44,000 attendees. The BHFF brings together 100s of media from around the globe with over 600 million media impressions reported annually and growing. Designed to bridge the world of premiere cinema with the renowned community of Beverly Hills, the BHFF is an event with world-class screenings at AMPAS, Writers Guild, and the TCL Chinese Theaters, along with expert panel discussions and workshops, nightly VIP theme parties, and charity benefit events. The festival concludes with a black tie awards ceremony with endless networking opportunities.

PHENOMENAL FESTIVAL!!! I was so honored to be an awardee for screenwriting! Thank you so much for recognizing CARPENTERLAND (THE UNION). Not only was the Festival absolutely fantastic, the dedicated team behind the Festival are some of the most kind and supportive humans there are. I can not recommend this festival more. • Its was a great experience, lots of great films. Can't wait to attend next year.

    August 2023
  • I know some of you might be thinking this festival is worth more than three stars. I didn't get to go to any screenings or the awards ceremony but it was nice to have my screenplay recognized with an official selection and a website listing.

It's not that I didn't want to go, I simply couldn't afford it. This gave me some hope the script has potential and to push forward, which I've done by entering other screenplay competitions.

Thanks for the shout out and I'm hoping I will get to meet everyone in person for the next go around (assuming I get selected).
