Daniel is a southern California native from San Diego whose passion for movies began with his love for writing. He has been exposed to numerous roles in the production process with formal training from the New York Film Academy in Burbank, CA, where he learned the basics of filmmaking and the value of collaborating with like-minded artists who share his passion. He has been a background actor and production assistant on television and film, and an apprentice under mentor and producer Daniel Sollinger, who he met through the Film Connection program.
His first short was a horror flick called Frozen in Time, the story of a man murdered by his girlfriend for cheating and whose vengeful spirit becomes trapped. He followed this up with The God of Suicide, a short drama revolving around the disturbed wife of a doctor who specializes in euthanasia.
