Unreasonable Shorts Screening

Unreasonable Shorts Screening was created with one goal in mind: Share the best short films out there... or nothing. Those who have attended our screening know we don't just talk the talk, we walk the walk. The only shorts we allow to screen are outstandingly high quality in every respect.

We have a full-service bar and kitchen. Our outdoor patio gives our guests a party and networking atmosphere.

As a thank you to our filmmakers we provide complimentary full-size prints of their poster to be displayed during the event that they are welcome to take home afterward.

We hire professional photographers to take high-quality photos for social media as well as a videographer to interview our filmmakers on the red carpet.

It is an honor for us to serve our community of filmmakers. We would be humbled by the opportunity to consider your film. Thank you.

Currently, we do not offer awards or prizes. The intent of our screening isn't to create a winner / not winner atmosphere, but rather to simply give filmmakers an opportunity to celebrate their hard work with friends and family alongside other fantastic filmmakers.

A super fun screening at a cool venue! My co-director and I have said it was one of the strongest overall slates of short films we'd seen, but that didn't stop it from feeling like a group of friends celebrating the strange things they'd cooked up. The full-size poster was an awesome bonus as well. We hope to be back here with our next film!

This is an excellent monthly festival in Los Angeles at a great interesting spot for sure. Very high energy, very fun, and as an added bonus all the showcased filmmakers get large posters made of their films for publicity pictures and to take home afterwards. I got a real kick out of that.

Unreasonable Shorts really is the best screening in LA. Never a bad line up of films, always a packed and excited audience, and the community atmosphere is great. It's so nice to have a regular screening that's just a lot of fun.
