Independent Film Night is open to everyone, from students to seasoned professionals. Our first priority is the quality of the films we show.
We look for a creative, compelling narrative and high production value. Special consideration is given to filmmakers in the Philadelphia region, but filmmakers can live anywhere in the United States.
Maximum running time is 20 minutes and the minimum running time is 5 minutes. Films must be in English or include easily-readable English subtitles.
Profanity and adult themes are acceptable if used purposefully; graphic violence, sexual assault or torture will not be considered.
We look forward to seeing your best work! Please submit only one film per Independent Film Night. Filmmakers who submit more than one will not be considered.
If you have any questions about these guidelines, don't hesitate to ask! We're open to considering a film that may fall outside one of these parameters if you contact us to discuss. You can get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
