Montmartre Movie Extravaganza is a unique movie fest - each year it welcomes movie enthusiasts from across the world to celebrate cinema as an art form. It salutes the celebration of the seventh wonderful art. Founded and named after Paris' artistic district of Montmartre, the prestigious roots of the festival are visible in old artistic etchings and paintings and lives up to its old artistic namesake as a symbol of creativity, innovation, and storytelling. Montmartre Movie Extravaganza has evolved to become a platform for showcasing the high quality and international films as well as new and emerging movie artists of all categories and underprivileged parts of the world. The film festival presents a one-of-a-kind selection of movies that range from gritty indies to compelling narratives.All films nominated for an award and selected for screening will be notified on the Notification Date. Screening materials will be requested and more information about the event will be provided.
Award winners will be announced at our festival, after the screenings, and online the following day.
Awards will include Certificates, Treats, and exclusive online Distribution deals.

The winners receive valuable trophies, laurels and diplomas.
All participants will receive laurels and electronic diplomas.
Participants will also have the opportunity to showcase their work in a cinema hall in Paris and get a special mention on our website.

Also, during the final event, viewers will have the opportunity to choose one of the works and vote for it. The entry with the most votes will receive an "Audience Choice Award".

- We accept films of all genres.
- All films that are not in English must have English language subtitles.
- Multiple entries from the same submitter are accepted. A separate submission and a separate entry fee must accompany each entry.
- Entry fees are non refundable since our programmers need to evaluate each project twice.We do not offer fee waivers or respond to these types of emails.
- All the winners of each category will receive an award certificate by e-mail.
- Winners will be announced each season on the "Notification Day".
- The festival authorities will have the right to retain copies of each film and the material send as part of our festival library & can be screened in for, promotion, awareness & commercial purposes.
- Proof of Student Status is required for entry to the Student category.
- Videos that are submitted must be the entrant’s original work and shall not infringe on any copyrights or any other rights of any third Parties.
