Intermedia TV announces the call for entries for the Back to School Special, an experimental film and moving image art festival of student work.

Intermedia TV is an initiative of Intermedia @ Otterbein University, consisting of artists, curators, academics and students in the pursuit of creating new platforms and dialogue for experimental film and moving image art in the Columbus, Ohio area and beyond.

Our will take place on HD monitors throughout the Otterbein University campus, including the The Point, our new STEAM center and the SAG Gallery in the Art Building.

We are seeking submissions of 6 minutes in length or shorter, including credits. High school, undergraduate, and graduate students are welcome to submit work.

We offer two recognitions. One entry will be named Curator’s Choice and one Audience Choice. Each winner will receive a Fluxus inspired mystery gift bag.

Pre-screening will only be online through FilmFreeway. We will not be accepting DVD submissions.

At this time, we are not offering screening fees.

Work is limited to 6 minutes or shorter. We will only except high school, undergraduate, and graduate student work for this festival.
