The 25 Under 25 Film Fest is a two-day film festival in New York City that is dedicated to giving young filmmakers from around the country a platform to show their work. The festival will highlight filmmakers under the age of 25 that are making films less than 25 minutes long. We aim to produce an environment that encourages youth art, innovative ideas, and lasting connections between young filmmakers.

Awards & Prizes

If your film is selected, you will receive an all-access pass to the festival. A Grand Jury will be giving away $1,750 total in cash prizes to the top 3 films of the festival.

Rules & Terms

Must be 25 years or under at the time of submission to the festival, within a year of being 25 at the festival in May 2020.

    It was a great experience, and incredibly well organized. The hospitality couldn't have been more accommodating. The general atmosphere of the program felt welcoming, supportive, and engaging. Also, an amazing opportunity for young filmmakers to connect.

    An incredible festival experience! Accommodations were excellent, festival attendees were excited and engaged, and all of the selections were high-quality. The nature of the festival really fostered bonding and networking between the filmmakers in attendance and created an environment that was supportive and fun. Awesome to get to attend such a successful first-year festival!

    10/10 best festival I've been to. Hospitality was incredible, (lodging at a cool campsite, meals, VIP Event was all provided for) the venue was the perfect size, with each of the 4 sessions being almost sold out. Everybody was super excited to watch films, and the filmmakers got to get up after their film was shown to engage the audience with q and a.

    This was also the debut year for this festival, and I'm very excited to see where the organizers take it in the following years!

    Well done. Some of the most fun I've ever had.
