The launch of the Boynton Beach Short Film Festival (BBSFF) marks a great venture in merging Boynton Beach education and visual creativity. Under SouthTech Schools’ commitment to visual artistic education and expressionism and the Boynton Beach community connection to the arts through Alco’s Boynton Cinema, the festival will surely carve its film-making niche as a definitive Florida arts destination.

The goal of the BBSFF is to serve as a launching pad for emerging Floridian film-makers wishing to showcase talent on the “big screen”. It invites the participation of all community members to thrive and understand the untold stories of everyone wishing to shine. Because of this, our submission categories are as varied as those who enter. The BBSFF is a non-profit organization that supports Floridian professionals and students alike who strive for greatness in all facets of life and contribute to the ever changing faces of art and society as a whole.

The Boynton Beach Short Film Festival (BBSFF) prides itself in the facilitation and support of professional and student short-form motion pictures artistry. This annual event celebrates the creativity of edgy, provocative, and inspirational storytelling that captivates a wide audience. The BBSFF also showcases the imagination and creativity of student film-makers wishing to gain recognition in a setting beyond the scope of social media. The BBSFF is based in Boynton Beach, Florida and aims to screen a variety of short films locally that feature widespread, talented, individuals able to take ideas from concept to fruition.
