Although it was virtual this year, the team did a wonderful job brining the festival online.

I am incredibly grateful that my film made it into this festival! Unfortunately, I was unable to attend, but the communication and process was awesome. You can tell that the Scared for Your Liife team is passionate and incredibly knowledgable when it comes to the horror genre, how do I know? Check out their awesome podcast, Hauntsville Cryptcast! It's inspiring and so much fun to follow!

Scared For Your LIIFE was SO much fun! The hosts ran a great festival, and the Puppet Theater was an awesome venue for a horror fest. They also have one of the coolest award trophies I've ever seen!
The screening theater was completely packed with fans and filmmakers, the waiting area was a great spot to meet and mingle with everyone who attended, and the puppets in the theater have such cool stories to go with them (just ask owner Anthony!)
We've been a part of the Long Island IFF horror block the last couple of years and enjoyed it, but this fest was far above what they have screened in the past! Not disparaging them at all, but many of their selected horror films tend to lean towards more the dramatic than the horrific. Not this time at all! There was a good mix of straight horror, some comedic, some dramatic, some off-the-wall, some big productions, low budget minimal productions, and everything in between..
The past couple of years, NY/LI has been missing it's premiere Indie Horror festival.. Scared For Your LIIFE has the opportunity to fill that void, and I really hope they grow to multiple days.
See you all next year, for sure!

I can't thank this festival enough for playing my short "Vocal Cord." Though I wasn't able to attend, the festival runners were amazing, and I plan to submit again and hope to attend next time!
