You must be between the ages of 7 and 17 at the time of submission to enter this contest.
Movies must be submitted in the appropriate age category based on the age of the filmmaker or the average age of the filmmaking team.
All movies must be PG or G. No guns may be used (real or fake.) No realistic depiction of violence may be included in the film.
Entries must be filmed and edited by the person or persons submitting. Your parents can help but the idea and execution needs to come from you. It is a kids contest after all. No directors or writers over the ages of 18 at the time of completion will be accepted.
You must be able to provide proof of music licensing for all music used. The filmmaker accepts all liability for use of unlicensed music.
You can submit more than one movie (separate fees apply for each submission)
All submissions that meet the deadline will be judged. The judges will decide if your movie is appropriate for public screening. The deadline is December 31 at 11:59pm.
Selected movies will be shown at a public screening at a yet TBD theater.
Winners will be announced at the screening.
All movies will be displayed on website during the festival.
