Your 'Reel' Journey Companion.

Caravan International Film Festival (CIFF) is more than just a platform — it's a journey for storytellers across the globe, crafted for filmmakers who are ready to share their voice with the world. With monthly live screenings, we provide a stage for independent creators to connect with real audiences, showcasing diverse stories that inspire, challenge, and entertain. Each month, selected films receive official laurels, certificates, and the recognition they deserve.

But the journey doesn’t end there. Monthly winners earn a coveted spot at our annual red carpet mega event — a grand celebration where the season’s finest films are screened in front of fellow filmmakers, cinephiles, and industry professionals. Here, the very best are honored with the prestigious CIFF trophy, marking a milestone in their creative journey.

At CIFF, we believe in the power of cinema to transcend borders and spark meaningful conversations. Whether you're an emerging filmmaker or a seasoned storyteller, we invite you to join the caravan — and let your reel journey begin.

Please read these Rules & Terms carefully before submitting your film. By entering your work into competition at the Caravan International Film Festival (CIFF), you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

Language & Subtitles:
Films not in English must include English subtitles. Submissions without subtitles will be automatically disqualified.

Multiple Submissions:
A director or producer may submit more than one film, either in the same category or across multiple categories.

Right to Refuse Entries:
CIFF reserves the right to refuse or disqualify any submission at its discretion.

Submission Fees & Categories:
Entry fees are non-refundable. Films submitted in the wrong category or without the appropriate fee or media may be deemed ineligible.

Clarification on Honorable Mention:
Being listed as an Honorable Mention does not guarantee screening at the festival. It is essentially the category in which our jury places a project that is too good to be excluded. As a token of acknowledgement and encouragement, and provides them a certificate and our official laurel.

Awards and Screening:
Winning films in each category will be showcased every season and will receive an official certificate and laurel. Monthly winners will automatically qualify for our annual red carpet event, where the Best of the Best will be screened before a live audience of filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts, and awarded the prestigious CIFF Trophy.

Withdrawal Policy:
Once submitted, a filmmaker cannot withdraw their film and request a refund. All entry fees are final and non-refundable.

Mandatory Materials:
Each submission must include a trailer or poster, film synopsis, and a screening link. Please ensure the correct category is selected. CIFF reserves the right to re-assign films to a more appropriate category if necessary.

Amendments to Rules:
CIFF may revise these Rules & Terms without prior notice. Any updates become effective immediately, and it is the submitter's responsibility to review them periodically.

Thanks a million for selecting The World’s 3 Wishes for a gold cup win! Your festival is top class.
I was thrilled to be part of it.
Let me explain why the movie exists.
Climate communication ranks 20th in all climate solutions currently deployed. 20th!
People know more about solar panels (which ranks first) than the crisis itself.
To help redress this, I've created something unique in climate communication.
The World’s 3 Wishes offers a brand new solution which would reverse the crisis if implemented.
I used to be a crime novelist, published in multiple languages. I would write characters into a corner which readers would see as impossible to get out of.
So I wrote them a way out.
Our planet is in a corner which seems impossible to get out of.
So I wrote it a way out.
I did this because if movies can be seen as offering brand new solutions (I'm not talking about
driving less, flying less or heating less or any of the things we already know about - which aren't working) then people will watch them. If I can write new solutions, so can other writers.
My movie never mentions the climate crisis on purpose. It’s allegorical, rather like Animal Farm is allegorical even though it’s about the Soviet Union, which it never mentions.
The film industry won't support climate crisis movies, unless they're post-apocalyptic.
Post-apocalyptic's no good. We need solutions which tell us how to prevent us from getting post-apocalyptic.
We need solutions which enable us to remain pre-apocalyptic.
So I created Silvergirl, probably the world's first climate superhero, with her own universe, her own
superpowers and her own alien background.
I wrote the script, the music, the lyrics, the songs and made the entire film myself without any previous experience or institutional funding. I hadn't a clue how to do it when I started last November. I made it in 5 months, at 95 minutes long.
You yourself may not be tuned into the climate crisis, but there are those who are, and my journey may prove of particular interest to them.
If writers can see that brand new solutions will gain traction, they will write them. That's my ambition.

Please have a look this example of using the entertainment world to help in the communication battle to spread greater awareness. We need to get it to shoot up from 20th place to 1st. That's why it's so important you're supporting this!
