The organizers couldn't have been more welcoming to the festival attendees and especially the filmmakers. It was a fantastic atmosphere with a great selection of films at a cool venue and I hope to be back next year. Well done!

For being its first year as a film festival as well taking place in a small town, the Model City Film Festival succeeds in being one of the best and most fun festivals I've ever attended. From a great selection of films being shown, to a heart-felt and genuine welcome to the area, and daily events and activities for the filmmakers and guests to attend to and network, I was very pleased and surprised by the experience. Aside from some technical difficulties, I'm confident that this first year was a learning and wonderful experience that will certainly make next year's even better. Bravo, Kingsport.

I loved the creative spirit & friendly vibe that surrounded the festival, and the quality of films was top notch. Nice venue, too. Hard to believe this was a first-year fest -- everything ran smoothly, like an event that had been around for years. It's obvious the organizers have backgrounds in the arts and are passionate about film. I look forward to watching this festival grow and prosper.
