NETWORKING: Accepted filmmakers have access to the other talented filmmakers at the festival, and the network of media professionals that teach at MCNY and are affiliated with the school, and will appear to speak. The lineup of films and panelist is provocative and fun – you’re destined to leave with a notebook full of strategies and the inspiration for your projects.
2. THE PROCESS: We take to heart the amount of work put into each film. Therefore, we are careful to ensure that each movie is reviewed at least twice. • I had a terrific time at MCNY Intl. Short Film Festival just a couple weeks ago, in April 2018. The films shown were diverse in type of film, and were among the best I've seen in an evening of short films in quite a while. The panel of working professionals had a terrific discussion before the films were screened. It was great to get a chance to speak to them, and to network with them. There was a great vibe there. Very positive energy, and a very positive experience.
