Faroe Islands International Minority Film Festival’s (fimff) aim is to build a bridge between minorities and marginalized groups in the Nordic region and the rest of the world. We believe in social change and the celebration of diversity through cinema by creating a forum for dialogue through film and art about queer, trans, and people of colour (QTPOC) issues/visibility. We strive to invite Nordic and international activists and filmmakers/directors to the Faroe Islands for networking and sharing experiences on relevant subjects.

2018 will we a special focus on political situations in Middle East, so if you have a project to precent with this focus, PLEASE SEND!

Jury awards for:

Best Narrative or Documentary Feature
Best Short Film (narrative or documentary).

Films have to be completed by Jan. 1st 2016.
