The Dark Scream Film Festival (DSFF) is an international festival seeking for the best horror films.
The Selected films will be recognized and awarded in various categories.
DSFF has made a point to keep our entry free as to give everyone the chance to enter, and we offer number of award categories!
DSFF's panel of judges is set in different parts of the world and comes with a variety of horror film expertise.
Your drive, your vision and the often seemingly insurmountable challenges that you face bringing your ideas to life are what makes us proud to champion your films and bring them in front of a highly appreciative audience.

Rules & Terms

Submission will be accepted through the film festival platform FilmFreeway.​

We do not mind if your film has already been published online. ​

The film has to be in English or have English subtitles.​

The submitter allows submitting only one film.​

The film maximum has a 20-minute length, including intro and final credits. ​

All submissions are final. No refunds are provided.​

Selected films will require HD format of the film on festival demand for screening purposes in the event through Dropbox or WeTransfer.​

We don't Endorse any Human or Animal Cruelty. So be aware while submitting the film. ​

The submitter owns all the copyrights, including music rights. The violation of copyrights will lead to disqualify the film​

We reserve full rights to use your name, film and film clips, posters, or any other information for publicity and display on our website, Facebook page, and all other promotional material (online and printed).​

No refunds will be given whether your film is or isn't selected for the festival or screenings. Any hard copy of your film and promotional material will not be returned.​

No inquiries or arguments will be entertained regarding non-selected films. The decision of the festival selection committee will be final.​

By Submitting the Film submitter will be agreed with all the rules and regulations of the Dark Scream Film Festival.

    Darkscream film festival is an eyeopner
    Every film festivals has its own theme and a way to express art
    But Darkscream film festival is something different
    Every one was creatively involved
    Right from organizers to host and the entire team
    They literally celebrate cinema
    Theme was up to the mark and stucked to the jonar
    Plus the difference between darkscream film festival and other film festivals is that they don't waste time and yet value the filmmakers
    By providing them deserving limelight and a change to explore
    Also the location was aesthetic
    It was in the zhone and area of an artist that is aram nagar part 2
    Which make them stand different then every one else All the best
    Darkscream and filmybees keep motivating celebrating and making films

    I highly recommend this festival for makers and fans of dark content and horror. They have a good curation and they are among the few groups bringing a good selection of horror for public viewing.

    As fans of the genre know, we are a small, but highly committed gang, always looking for good content.
