The 2nd Annual New York Digital Film Awards is a film festival sponsored by Digital Film Academy. It showcases short films from some of the best filmmakers in NYC.

Awards & Prizes

Selected filmmakers will have their short film screened at the 2nd Annual NYDFA at the Anthology Film Archives in NYC. Winners of the three categories (Best Film, Best Director, and Best Cinematography) will receive a $250 B&H gift-card, and a custom trophy, in addition to having their film screened.

DEADLINES
2nd Annual NYDFA submissions OPEN ON MAY 21, 2019

Deadlines are as follows:
Earlybird deadline: June 15th, 2019
Regular deadline: July 15th, 2019
Late deadline: August 15th, 2019
Extended deadline: September 10th, 2019

CATEGORIES
We accept Feature Films, Short Films, Web Series, and Music Videos under 25 minutes in all genres from all over the world!

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Language:
All films must be in English or with English subtitles.

Duration/Running Time:
Maximum 25 minutes

NYDFA reserves the rights to use excerpts and stills from submitted films in promotional material
