We welcome filmmakers and screenwriters from around the world! We accept feature films and shorts as well as feature-length and short scripts. The Her Vision International Film Festival is here to support equality and empowerment in the cinematic arts. In addition, we also underscore the importance of unity. For example, our first year's Feature Film Winner was a female producer/writer with a male director. We also welcome LGBTQ creatives. You may submit a screenplay or a film if you are a male director or writer and your story shows a female with some agency or shows the plight of being a female or a member of the LGBTQ community. We are here to encourage and empower creatives regardless of gender. We are also introducing a new faith films category! Did you know that the first witnesses to Jesus' empty tomb were women? Awards & Prizes

Our current prizes include an InkTip subscription, a Studiovity subscription, and a one-on-one session with veteran producer/entertainment lawyer, and actor Bruce Nahin.
Additionally, your film may be chosen to be screened at a wonderful theater in New York, even if you don't take the top prize.
Also, some filmmakers will be asked to be interviewed regarding their projects. So, yay! Free press!

Rules & Terms

We accept films from around the globe. All screenplays must be in English. However, if your screenplay is written in Italian or Spanish they will be accepted.
All screenplays must be submitted as a pdf.
The writer of the project or an authorized party is the only person who can submit a project.
For the Her Vision International Film Festival, 50 pages and above is considered a feature-length screenplay. Of course, under 50 pages is a short screenplay.
Stage plays will be accepted at this festival.

SHORT and FEATURE LENGTH scripts get COVERAGE WITH 1 Page of NOTES
The runtime for a short film is 49 minutes or less.
Music Videos will be considered short films.
Commercials will also be considered short films.
If you have a half-hour TV pilot, that will fit into the shorts category. Half-hour Web Series are also eligible for short film consideration.
If your project is in a language other than English, Italian or Spanish, please make sure that it is subtitled in English.
If your project is chosen to be screened it must be sent in as a DVD.

Projects over 50 minutes are considered feature-length films. Fiction and documentaries are welcome.
*43-48 minute TV pilots will be eligible for this category.*

    This Festival, curated by Caterina Campagna is one of the warmest, filmmaker-friendly festivals I've attended over the past 10 years during my circuit tenure. First and foremost, to celebrate one another as women, artists and creatives feels wonderful. What more could you ask for? A relaxing, intimate environment, kind staff, free drinks and great films made my entire weekend. The networking was warm and genuine. First-class. And did I mention our film, "Mother Knows Best" won best overall drama, best actor and actress? That, was the cherry on top. I highly recommend submitting to Her Vision Int'l Film Festival. Caterina works super hard to promote your film, and communicates with intention, which I greatly appreciate.
