The Annual SSFF – Skate & Surf Film Festival is the Italy’s largest celebration of contemporary skate and surf, art and culture bringing to the boot shaped country the very best skate and surf films from around the globe – a selected line up of premieres to inspire and entertain. The festival has become a must attend for skaters and surfers from all over the peninsula.
Now in its 9th year, we’ve grown the event organically, working with some of the most exciting filmmakers from across the globe, hosting packed out premieres and audiences with some of the most inspiring names in surfing and skating.
SSFF is the original “social” experience and that is exactly what it is all about.
Of course, the films are only half the experience. The other half is the glorious chaos of the festival itself. Every screening feels like an explosion waiting to happen. But that's the beauty of it all - there’s no safety net here. You either fly or you crash and burn.
