I am deeply honored to receive the Best Experimental Shorts award from the Hawaii Film Awards for The Moneyshot. Though I wasn't able to be there in person to celebrate alongside the other filmmakers and the incredible community you've built, please know that this recognition means the world to me.

Experimental filmmaking can feel like a solitary leap into the unknown — you're never quite sure if the vision you're chasing will connect with an audience. To have The Moneyshot seen, understood, and celebrated by this festival is more than I could have hoped for.

Thank you to the jury, the organizers, and everyone at the Hawaii Film Awards for championing bold, unconventional work. It's festivals like yours that remind independent filmmakers why we take risks. I'm grateful and humbled.
