EXTENDED DEADLINE!! 18th JUNE!
TIVAF is a festival that celebrates innovation and excellence in video art. Each year we feature a curated selection of video works submitted by artists from all over the world, this year with an open theme. Send us your best videoart!
We are now seeking submissions from international and Australian video artists for our 2018 festival to be held in Launceston, Tasmania in August this year.
Exhibitions during TIVAF are held in a range of settings, including at Sawtooth ARI gallery (http://sawtooth.org.au) or within one of Launceston City’s exciting public areas, including a 20m radius water screen projection. There are also multiple media options available, including projection, flat screen and retro CRT monitors. Experimentation with these display options is encouraged and can be detailed in your application.
TIVAF aims to promote engagement between the Tasmanian community, emerging creatives, and established video artists. Your work will be exhibited alongside a group of carefully selected professional artists and promoted during talks with public and school groups.
Final curated artists will receive a fee for their contribution to the festival.
