Twister Alley International is a unique film festival run by filmmakers...for filmmakers. After screening at hundreds of film festivals, seeing the good and the bad, Twister Alley Festival Directors Josh Hope & TJ Treece are proud to bring their favorite indie films from across the globe back home to NW Oklahoma by designing a film festival that provides the perfect setting for both filmmakers and movie fans alike. With complimentary food, airport shuttle for screening filmmakers, a jury loaded with working filmmakers and actors and all film screenings on the big screen at the beautiful and historic Woodward Theater, Twister Alley sets itself apart from the mass of tired film festivals by putting the filmmaker first.

"We were taken care of from the second we got off the plane until the second we got back on. It made the experience all that better because we didn't have to worry about anything other than representing our films and having an awesome time." Chris Holder...Actor...The Life and Death of an Unhappily Married Man

"I've been to several festivals myself, and I can tell you, this was by far the best film festival I have ever attended. PERIOD." David Bryant Perkins...screenplay finalist

"Twister Alley was hands down the best festival I've been to (not exaggerating!) I've never been treated so well for merely having a little short film showing in a sea of films." Anthony Stratton...Actor...Nesting Grounds

"Going to Woodward was one of the best film fest experiences I've ever had. The town was very cordial and it's only going to get bigger and better from here." Tom Radovich...Producer...Nobody

"It was awesome and perfect. " Elyse Cantor...Actor...The Life and Death of an Unhappily Married Man

This is a film festival by film makers for film makers. They do so much for those that attend and if you are unable to make, there's so much going on that still allows you to be involved.

Their passion for film is remarkable and it's one of the best fests I've been accepted in. Their generosity and hospitality is greatly appreciated.

It's no wonder that Twister Ally was on this year's MovieMaker 50 Festivals Worth The Entry Fee. Great communication, great programming, a great theatre and a fantastic team!

I loved Twister Alley! Josh Hope was a very hospitable festival director and I had no idea there was such a fervent filmmaking scene in Oklahoma. Woodward was a charming town and the historic theater was a great place to watch films, network and have a drink. I saw some old friends, but met many new filmmakers as well. I would highly recommend this festival.

Twister Alley is the best festival I've ever been a part of, hands down. The hospitality alone is worth it. I have never been treated so well at a festival. They go above the norm to make the whole experience comfortable. I felt proud to be a part of something so special. In a Sea of Festivals, Twister Alley is the Lighthouse. The shining example of what the others festivals should strive to become. Awesome!
