Pickurflick Indie Film Festival (PIFF) started in 2017 is an IMDb qualifying film festival and has been awarded the ‘Top 100 Best Reviewed Festivals’ out of 6500 festivals worldwide on FilmFreeway in 2018.

Our festival curates & showcases indie films from across the globe and supports independent & emerging talents across formats.

Private screenings (Jury screenings) to be held at the end of each Monthly edition.

About Pickurflick

Pickurflick is a streaming platform for curated indie cinema. We curate award-winning indie cinema from across the globe & across formats which you won't find on other platforms. Pickurflick is an omnichannel distribution platform with the presence on web, TV and other diverse Platforms. Pickurflick has tied up with Qyou TV channel which airs Pickurflick shorts weekly.

We are also building the largest database of Indie film titles called ‘Film List’ where users can browse & watch films for free.

Pickurflick also conceptualized & started Pondicherry International Film Festival in 2018 and successfully completed the 2nd edition of the festival in September 2019.

We have changed the rules & regulations for submissions, please go through it carefully before submitting.

All official selection films will receive laurels & a free listing on Pickurflick 'Film List' (largest database of indie films).

Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully before submitting the films:

Filmmakers can submit more than 1 unique entry per month and can also submit the same entries every month if their film didn’t win any awards. Only one filmmaker can win prize each month and cannot submit the same winning film again to a later edition.

Films

1. All films must have only HD format - 720/1080p, should have been made in or after 2017 and have English subtitles (except for music videos and unless English is the main language spoken). Any genre and format is accepted (from 1 minute films to long, narrative/artistic films).

2. PIFF WILL NOT UPLOAD ANY SUBMITTED FILM ONLINE (except for trailers or clippings for promotional purposes). Film makers/producers who wish to distribute their films via Pickurflick can do so on their own and their upload will be governed by the terms & conditions of Pickurflick.com website.

Rights
By submitting your film to our festival through FilmFreeway, you agree that your content in part (trailer/clippings) can be uploaded/embedded on our website & can be distributed through our partner & social media platforms. The filmmaker/institution that is submitting the film must own the rights to do so and is responsible for the content they are providing. By submitting, the filmmaker allows Pickurflick to create a page for their film without infringing copyright of any kind of form.
Please note that the entry fee is non-refundable under any circumstance and we do not provide any feedback on what grounds a project has been selected or rejected for the awards or for the festival

Notification
Pickurflick will announce the winners on social media & via emails.

The decision of PIFF & Pickurflick management & Jury will be final and binding on all participating film makers/producers/agencies etc and no deliberations will be entertained in this regard.

Disclaimer
By entering your film for consideration for PIFF, you authorize that your work is cleared for festival exhibition and accept full legal responsibility for the intellectual property therein. Entry into the festival constitutes permission to exhibit your content in part (short clips, footage etc) of your work online at Pickurflick, social media & its partner networks including television networks. PIFF is also hereby granted the right to utilize the e-mails through which the entries were submitted as well as excerpts from any film submitted at the Festival for promotional purposes. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless PIFF & Pickurflick management from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.

Please note that PIFF DOES NOT PAY SCREENING FEES , if the film is submitted to the festival & officially selected then you are bound to screen it in our festival without charging any screening fees.

By submitting your film via our website or FilmFreeway, you acknowledge you/ your content will be bound by Pickurflick website Terms & User's policy.
