The 3rd Annual Funny Under Fifteen Minutes is a comedy Film Festival for comedy films fifteen minutes or less. The Festival is based in Hamilton, New York with additional screening locations across Central New York State. We are excited to announce an expanded schedule for 2027!!!

The Chenango Valley region boasts some of the most beautiful vistas in North America and has gained an international reputation for its cultural events, outdoor activities and academic institutions. It has long been known as a weekend retreat for city dwellers from New York, Boston, Ottawa, and Toronto.

2027 Early Submission $15.00 USD

The weekend Festival will hold Q & A sessions after the screenings, panel discussions and meet and greet opportunities for our filmmakers and film fans to connect.

Awards & Prizes

Our Funny Under Fifteen Minutes Selection Committee will select Two Wicked Funny Winners in both the (1) Comedy Category and the (2) Student Comedy Category.

Those winning filmmakers will be presented with a Physical Award, recognized as Wicked Funny Filmmakers and given a waiver for the next edition of the Funny Under Fifteen Minutes Film Festival.

2. The duration of submitted films must be 15 minutes or less in duration.

    I didn't have a chance to attend Funny Under Fifteen due to time constraints but I love how the organizers were so hospitable over email and offered to help with transport and requested an intro video for my short (which I whipped up and sent their way). Big fan of their thought and care. Would highly recommend!

    I had an amazing time at Funny Under Fifteen! I met a lot of great people and the festival was delightful. I've attended several film festivals but never during its inaugural year. It was ran very smooth and the quality of films were stellar. I saw every film the festival offered and there was no lack of laughter coming from the audience. If you have a comedy short, definitely submit it to Funny Under Fifteen. I am already excited for year two!
