Accepting shorts 30 seconds to 20 minutes.

Open to filmmakers ages 16 and up, the ENYFF seeks 30- second to 15-minute films that challenge people to think about community empowerment and culture. Since the East New York neighborhood is shifting and changing like other areas in Brooklyn, we want to highlight the community of East New York and help bring more culture to the area. We also want to honor our teens by highlighting their work.

Winners from each category will receive a monetary award of $100 dollars and press.

All shorts must be received by July 8, 2017. All submissions must have been completed after January 1, 2016. No works in progress will be accepted. Short films are limited to a 15 minute maximum. Final program determinations will be made by July 24, 2017.
